Small General Firm service

Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas has seven classes of service, with different rates for each class of service. Small General Firm service is classified as Service Classification No. 2. Examples of this category of customer might include a restaurant, dry cleaners, convenience store, gas station, and so on. “Firm” service means that Enbridge St. Lawrence Gas is supplying an uninterrupted supply of gas, as the customer requires it. Small General Firm service is any application that is non-residential, or service to a residence where more than 25% of the cubic space is being used for business purposes. Follow these steps for gas service

• If you wish to change the gas service to your company name, you can sign-up for service on our website.
• If you are requesting a new gas line to be installed, you will be asked to sign all the appropriate paperwork, including a Load Sheet that identifies the amount of natural gas you will require. You may be asked to also provide information about your equipment, hours of operation, and hours of peak usage.  Your service line is normally installed within seven weeks during our construction season (May – October).
