In order to gain approval to operate in the St. Lawrence Gas system a marketer must provide St. Lawrence Gas documentation of approval by the New York State Public Service Commission to operate in New York State. After receipt of the required application and documentation, St. Lawrence Gas will begin the process for credit approval ( See the St. Lawrence Gas Gas Transportation Operating Procedures Manual).

The New York State Public Service Commission currently has three ongoing generic proceedings that will eventually impact the St. Lawrence Gas tariff, i.e., the Electronic Data Interchange proceeding, the Uniform Business Practices proceeding and the Gas Transportation Operating Procedure Manual.
